The white, smooth cream makes the sensitive skin in the intimate area pleasantly smooth and can be used before sexual intercourse (as a lubricant).
Vagisan MoistCream Cremolum is for women who feel a burning sensation or itching in the vagina and who find an applicator uncomfortable. The Cremolum is a soft-melting vaginal suppository against vaginal dryness. It is used without an applicator and cares for the dry vagina. The suppositories melt in the warmth of the vagina and together with the vaginal fluid form a cream that cares for the inside of the vagina. -
The vaginal suppositories are practical to use and therefore particularly convenient when traveling or when you need something quick. They are inserted IN the vagina, preferably at bedtime. The application depends on the individual complaints. A cremolum can be used once a day or less frequently (e.g. 2-3 times a week).
It is recommended to wear a panty liner during use. Vagisan MoistCream Cremolum can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The addition of a lactic acid-calcium lactate buffer causes the cream that forms in the vagina to have a pH value (acid value) of approx. 4.5 - this means that Vagisan MoistCream Cremolum helps to maintain a healthy vaginal environment.
Both the intimate cream and the vaginal suppositories are free of hormones (estrogens) and can therefore also be used together with systemic hormone replacement therapy (e.g. tablets, transdermal patches) or alternately with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (estrogen). . Both the cream and the suppository are fragrance-free.
Vaginal dryness mainly affects women during or after the menopause, but younger women can also be affected by a dry vagina. A lack of estrogen (during and after the menopause) is often the reason for a dry vagina, but hormone fluctuations or stress can also be a cause. Vaginal dryness is often noticeable through pain during sex, but it can also affect the affected women in everyday situations, e.g. B. when sitting or cycling.
Regular use of Vagisan MoistCream and Vagisan MoistCream Cremolum can help to prevent irritation, inflammation and pain in the vagina and in the external genital area caused by vaginal dryness. -
