Red Clover Tablets is a dietary supplement with red clover - rich in vital substances. Red clover (Trifolium pratense) contains numerous flavonoids and isoflavonoids which are secondary plant substances. Both are natural, yellow to red pigments of the plants. You color e.g. cherries red or apricots yellow. As flower pigments, they attract insects. At the same time, thanks to their bitter taste, they successfully ward off harmful fungi and snails. 

About 1,500 different compounds are known of the flavonoids. They are found in practically all colorful fruits and vegetables. Each fruit or vegetable has a slightly different composition. The following are considered to be particularly rich: soy, red clover, white cabbage, cauliflower, and even in the red wine of Burgundy grapes you can find these vital substances.

The DGE (German Society for Nutrition) ascribes secondary plant substances, in particular the flavonoids, to have some health-promoting properties in the latest nutrition report. Although intake recommendations for individual flavonoids or isoflavonoids cannot yet be given, the DGE considers it desirable if the consumption of secondary plant substances could be increased.

Red clover usually grows between different grasses on our local fields. It is one of the richest food sources for isoflavones comparable to soy.  Their positive influence on well-being is known from centuries of experience in Asian nutrition. Recently, there has been an increasing number of modern studies that confirm these positive experiences.  A nutrition supplement with red clover is therefore especially recommended for women who feel more physical changes.

Each tablet contains 40 mg isoflavonoids.
