Eucerin Actinic Control MD Sun SPF 100 is a sunscreen specifically designed to prevent actinic keratosis and non-melanoma skin cancer* and as an adjunctive therapy for actinic keratosis.

Actinic Control ^MD Sun SPF 100 is quick and easy to apply thanks to its light formula and can therefore also be used daily as a day cream - as an important part of the daily care routine for sun protection or as therapy-accompanying sun protection, so that you can enjoy your time outdoors actively and carefree. Actinic Control ^MD  Sun SPF 100 is also recommended for very sun-sensitive skin and people who are exposed to high levels of sun, such as certain professional groups and athletes.

If UVB and UVA rays penetrate the nucleus of our top skin cells, the keratinocytes, they can damage the DNA there directly. This increases the risk of developing actinic keratoses (the most common early form of skin cancer) and (light) skin cancer.

However, studies show that using sunscreen daily can prevent the development of the skin condition:

The very high effectiveness of Actinic Control ^MD Sun SPF 100 is due to its very high sun protection factor . A very high sun protection factor (preferably SPF 100) with simultaneous high UVA protection protects the skin from UVA and UVB radiation and, with daily and regular use, forms a protective shield for the skin which absorbs and reflects rays and thus minimizes the risk of direct cell damage. This reduces the risk of actinic keratoses and skin cancer.
