After each treatment or before each use, the product must be checked carefully for damage (cracks, breakage, etc.). Never reuse damaged products.
Disinfection should be carried out with commercially available instrument disinfectants that are suitable for heat-stable plastics. Disinfectants that contain phenol derivatives or alkylamines (glucoprotamine) as active ingredients are not suitable. The manufacturer's information about exposure times and application concentrations of the disinfectants must be observed. Adequate rinsing with deionized water must be ensured so that residues of the disinfectant are removed again.
Before sterilization, the products must be cleaned, disinfected, rinsed with water until there are no residues, and dried. Only the sterilization processes listed below are to be used for sterilization; other sterilization processes must be validated by the user. The specified times and temperatures are minimum requirements that must not be undercut. Longer sterilization times and higher temperatures are certainly possible, but lead to stress on the material, which can result in premature aging of the products.
