Already highly valued by the Incas for its numerous properties and its pleasant taste, its reputation is now increasingly spreading in Europe. The "tree of life", as it is called by the Indians, is native to the tropical rainforests between Argentina and Mexico. Lapacho is very well known in the folk knowledge of South America, similar to ginseng in Asia.
Lapacho (inner bark of the Pau d'Arco tree).
Tastes hot and cold.It is obtained with a conservative and gentle harvesting method, whereby only part of the bark is peeled, which quickly grows back.

Add approx. 15 g of lapacho to 1 liter of boiling water. Let the tea boil for 5 minutes and then steep for 20 minutes.
