  • OHROPAX™ Classic has been the tried-and-tested noise protection product since 1907. The unique recipe - cotton wadding soaked in a mixture of Vaseline and various paraffin waxes - was so successful right from the start that it has hardly had to be changed to this day.

The OHROPAX™ success story begins at the beginning of the 20th century in the pulsating capital of Berlin. In a place that was once synonymous with hustle and bustle, never-ending noise and the hectic dawn of a new era. This is where the resourceful pharmacist Maximilian Negwer brought his noise-dampening wax balls onto the market for everyone as the first product of this kind.

Inspired by Homer's famous portrayal of the Greek hero Odysseus, who had his ship's crew sealed with beeswax balls against the deadly song of the sirens, Negwer literally created a classic with OHROPAX™, which still makes the luxury of silence tangible to this day.

Due to its high wearing comfort, OHROPAX Classic is ideal for undisturbed sleeping. At the same time, it is also a pleasant help for general relaxation, for meditation exercises, for concentrated reading and work, for DIY and for loud music. Thanks to the tight closure, OHROPAX also offers protection against moisture and wind.

The discreet skin-colored balls can be optimally adapted to any auditory canal and significantly reduce noise pollution. The fact that the cuddly and skin-friendly material sticks securely in the ear and does not create a feeling of pressure contributes to the high wearing comfort.

  • Before use, completely remove the cotton from the eartip with clean fingers. If necessary, slightly reduce the size of the stopper by tearing it off. Do not use torn off pieces.

Knead the plug until it is soft, form it into a coherent, sufficiently large ball and use it to seal the external ear canal tightly with gentle pressure. Do not insert deeply.

After use, only remove the plug with your fingers. A slight pressure from behind on the auricle loosens the plug. Do not use any hard or pointed objects.
