    That is one of the names for the buckhorn. It has been used for coughs since the 11th century and, together with thyme, fennel and liquorice root, forms the healing and effective mixture of our Bad Heilbrunner® cough and bronchial tea for relieving irritation in dry coughs and bronchitis.

    Thyme was already used by the ancient Egyptians as a medicinal plant and gives tea a pleasant, Mediterranean flavor. Fennel and liquorice root give the tea a mild note of liquorice and round off the taste and effect.

    The four herbs are particularly effective in the pyramid bag. The fine pores allow water to flow around and the innovative shape means there is plenty of room for extra herbs - for optimal development of flavors and active ingredients.
