BIO-H-TIN Vitamin H 5 mg is a vitamin preparation.
The medicine is taken until biotin levels in the blood normalize. The duration depends on the course of the underlying disease. Please consult your doctor about this. In the very rare case of biotin-dependent, multiple carboxylase deficiency, it is taken for life.
It is used for:- Prevention and treatment of biotin deficiency. (Less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient for prevention).
- Treatment of biotin deficiency in the very rare biotin-dependent multiple carboxylase deficiency.

Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Take the medicine whole with enough liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).
The recommended dose: Take ½ tablet daily (corresponding to 2.5 mg biotin). For prophylaxis, less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient. For the treatment of multiple carboxylase deficiency: Take 1 to 2 tablets daily (corresponding to 5 to 10 mg of biotin) -
