Weleda Calendula Essence is used to clean and provide first aid for bloody wounds. If the wound edges are frayed or the wound is festering and healing poorly, Weleda Calendula Essence has an anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect.
It inhibits the growth of inflammatory pathogens and promotes the formation of new tissue. This stimulates wound healing. In the case of inflammation of the gums or oral mucosa, diluted Weleda Calendula Essence has a cleansing and healing effect as a mouthwash.

Application
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is: For wound dressings and rinses, add 1-2 teaspoons of Weleda Calendula Essence to 1/4 liter of boiled water. For mouthwashes, add 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 glass of warm water.
