Aurica St. John's Wort tea made from the herb of Hypericum perforatum harvested during the flowering period is a tried and tested herbal sedative. St. John's wort is therefore often referred to as a herbal antidepressant. St. John's wort was used as a medicinal plant for mild depressive moods and nervousness as well as gastrointestinal complaints in ancient times. -
Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 - 2 cups of the freshly prepared tea infusion are regularly drunk in the morning and in the evening: Pour 1 - 2 teaspoons of St. John's wort with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
