Ribwort tea for internal and external use for respiratory infections as well as easily inflammatory changes in the skin and mucous membranes.
Aurica ribwort tea is the ideal aid for bronchitis, colds and other respiratory diseases that are associated with coughs, sore throats and inflammation in the mouth and throat. It consists of the dried aboveground plant parts of the ribwort "Plantago lanceolata".
As a tea infusion for drinking, rinsing or gargling, these alleviate inflammation, calm the urge to cough, dissolve stuck mucus in the airways and thus facilitate expectoration. But when used externally, ribwort has a soothing and germicidal effect.
In the case of insect bites, neurodermatitis or small wounds, compresses with Aurica ribwort tea can improve wound healing, reduce itching and reduce inflammation more quickly. -
Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 3 - 4 times a day in the case of catarrh of the airways: 2 teaspoons of ribwort (approx. 1.4 g) with boiling Pour over water (about 150 g) and let it steep for about 10 - 15 minutes.
For rinsing or gargling as well as for making poultices, cold extracts are prepared 3 - 4 times a day as follows in the specified amount or in the required multiple: Pour 2 teaspoons of ribwort (approx. 1.4 g) with cold water (approx. 150 ml) and let stand for 1 - 2 hours while stirring several times.In the case of acute symptoms that persist for more than 1 week or recur periodically, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
