  • The Shitake mushroom is rich in vital substances. In particular, the following are found in effective amounts: vitamin C, D, D2, B1, B2, B3, folic acid, zinc, potassium, 18 amino acids of which 7 are essential, hemicellulose fiber, lentinan, eritradin.

    The Shiitake or Shii-Take (Lentinula edodes, syn.Lentinus edodes). The Japanese name Shiitake means mushroom (take) that grows on the Pasania tree (shii); the mushroom is therefore also called Pasaniapilz in German. After the mushroom, it is the most widely grown edible mushroom.
