Highly dosed magnesium
Magnesium is found primarily in the bones, muscles, and soft tissues of the body. The mineral regulates many biochemical reactions and is essential for muscle functions, including the heart and nerves. Magnesium ensures a balanced electrolyte balance, energy metabolism and regular protein synthesis. Magnesium also contributes to the regular functioning of the muscles and the nervous system. It is also used to maintain bones and teeth. Magnesium also counteracts tiredness and exhaustion.
The recommended dose of magnesium for adults is 280-350 mg daily. However, stress, exercise, a poor diet, recovery processes and diabetes can all increase daily needs.
