Dr. Wolz Intestinal Flora Plus contains 4 probiotic cultures in a concentration of 24 billion lactic acid bacteria per daily portion and the prebiotic inulin.
The intestine with the largest surface area (200 - 300 m2) has a dual function. On the one hand, it is responsible for the absorption of food components and excretion, on the other hand, it houses a huge number of bacteria, which act as intestinal flora and stimulate the immune defense of the entire body. Lactobacilli and bifidus bacteria, which produce lactic acid, make up the largest proportion of the intestinal flora. The intestinal flora can be negatively affected by many influences, such as an unbalanced diet and medications (antibiotics).
The oligofructose it contains serves as food for the cultures of lactic acid bacteria in the intestine. These can therefore grow better and thus serve the intestinal flora.
