Dr. Wolz Curabiom Baby powder is a preparation specially developed for babies and pregnant women. It contains a combination of special lactic acid bacterial strains and galactooligosaccharides.
Curabiom Baby contains a combination of special lactic acid bacterial strains (Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus) and GOS (galactooligosaccharides). The galactooligosaccharides are obtained from milk sugar and are therefore very similar to the milk oligosaccharides found in breast milk.
The administration of lactic acid bacteria can be useful for babies and pregnant women - especially for babies if they are not breastfed and/or were born by cesarean section. That's why Dr. Wolz Curabiom Baby specially developed for babies and pregnant women. The selection of the three special strains of lactic acid bacteria (Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus rhamnosus) was based on current studies. These are natural lactic acid bacterial cultures that also occur in breast milk. The galactooligosaccharides (GOS) contained are fibers that consist of multiple sugars. They enter the large intestine undigested and are used as food by the intestinal bacteria. The galactooligosaccharides (GOS) are more similar to the milk oligosaccharides found in breast milk than the plant fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which are not found in breast milk at all.
