Colibiogen® oral is a naturopathic preparation. It contains the proven fermentation filtrate of Escherichia coli strain Laves 1931 and biotin. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
The special bacterial strain Escherichia coli strain Laves 1931 has been used for more than 85 years. The fermentation filtrate in Colibiogen® oral is obtained from fermentation with this bacterial strain using a complex biotechnological process and carefully processed. The filtrate is free of bacteria but contains the metabolic products of Escherichia coli strain Laves 1931 (e.g., short-chain fatty acids, amino acids, and peptides).
Biotin – also known as vitamin B7 – is an essential vitamin that, as a component of numerous enzymes, performs important metabolic functions. Biotin also plays a key role in maintaining healthy mucous membranes, such as the intestinal mucosa.
