  • Since the human organism cannot produce vitamin C itself, it is dependent on vitamin C intake from food.
    Under some conditions, such as in winter, with high physical exertion, in smokers and pregnant women, the vitamin C requirement increases significantly.

    Acerola cherry (Malpighia Glabra) is one of the fruits richest in vitamin C. On average, 100 g of ripe acerola fruits contain 17,000 mg of vitamin C, while 100 g of oranges contain only 50 mg of vitamin C.
    Acerola cherry, also called the Antilles cherry, comes from Brazil and Central America, where it is mainly grown today.
    The orange-yellow to dark red cherry-sized fruits taste slightly sour and their taste is reminiscent of lemon.

    The AMAZONAS acerola powder is made from wild ripe and unripe cherries, which besides vitamin C contain numerous minerals and phytochemicals. Thanks to these natural substances, the vitamin C is perfectly absorbed by the body.

  • Depending on requirements, stir 1 g of powder (approx. 1/2 teaspoon) into any drink, muesli, yoghurt or desserts daily.
