What is dry cough?

Basically, coughing is a very natural protective reaction of our body to rid the respiratory tract of dust, debris or mucus.

On the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract are millions of cilia, which keep the surface moist by a transparent mucus and move by wave-like movements towards the pharynx. Immersed foreign bodies adhere to this moist protective film and - when they reach the throat - are swallowed or coughed out by a reflex.

However, if the function of the cilia is disturbed by, for example, dry heating air or viruses and bacteria, the body tries to compensate for this by frequent coughing. Therefore, it should not be attempted right at the beginning of a cough to combat this.
An irritating cough or dry cough is an unproductive cough without secretion of mucus. Coughing is a common symptom of respiratory infections such as colds, especially at night, these loud and constant coughing fits can be very tormenting and exhausting.
A prolonged dry cough may be detrimental to the sensitive mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Help can then do the double heart cough liquid, whose natural ingredients relieve the coughing, moisturize and protect the respiratory mucous membranes and promotes the mucus solution.
