El medicamento se toma hasta que los niveles de biotina en sangre se normalicen. La duración depende de la evolución de la enfermedad subyacente. Consulte con su médico al respecto. En el caso muy raro de deficiencia de carboxilasa múltiple dependiente de biotina, se toma de por vida.

Se utiliza para:

- Prevención y tratamiento de la deficiencia de biotina. (Menos de 0,2 mg de biotina al día es suficiente para la prevención).
- Tratamiento de la deficiencia de biotina en la muy rara deficiencia de carboxilasa múltiple dependiente de biotina.

The recommended dose: Take ½ tablet daily (corresponding to 2.5 mg biotin). For prophylaxis, less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient. For the treatment of multiple carboxylase deficiency: Take 1 to 2 tablets daily (corresponding to 5 to 10 mg of biotin)
