I Folio 1 basic-tablettene er folsyre kombinert med 9 mikrogram vitamin B12De to vitaminene er avhengige av hverandre i metyleringssyklusen, så et tilstrekkelig inntak av vitamin B12 er like nødvendig som en tilstrekkelig folsyrestatus.

Vitamin D3 støtter opprettholdelsen av normale bein- og muskelfunksjoner og bidrar til et normalt fungerende immunsystem. Folio 1 basic inneholder 20 mikrogram vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 i Folio 1 basic-tablettene er utvunnet fra saueull og deretter renset i en så høy grad at det ikke kan påvises spor av animalsk DNA.

Sist, men ikke minst, inneholder Folio 1 basic 150 mikrogram jod. Som en sentral komponent i skjoldbruskkjertelhormonene er jod essensielt for produksjonen av disse og bidrar til normal skjoldbruskkjertelfunksjon. Jod hjelper også nervesystemet og energimetabolismen med å fungere normalt.

Use and dosage of Folio 1 basic:

The application period of Folio 1 basic begins when you want to have a child and lasts until the end of the 12th week of pregnancy. Folio 1 basic (phase 1) is suitable for providing pregnant women with sufficient amounts of the necessary vitamins folic acid (B9), vitamin B12, vitamin D3 and the mineral iodine. One tablet of Folio 1 basic contains 800 micrograms of folic acid (B9), 9 micrograms of vitamin B12, 20 micrograms of vitamin D3 and 150 micrograms of iodine.

The use of all Folio products in the practical click dispenser is simple and straightforward. One mini tablet is taken per day, unchewed, with a little liquid during a meal or snack. If iodine cannot be consumed for medical reasons, the iodine-free product Folio 1 basic is available.

Note:Folio 1 basic can also be taken together with Folio nausema if required.

Note for female athletes: Female athletes and women who have an increased need for folic acid due to the use of hormonal contraceptives can also ensure their supply of folic acid with Folio 1 basic. Female athletes also have an additional need for iodine due to their increased basal metabolic rate and increased sweat production.
