Aito kamomilla (Matricaria chamomilla) on auringonkukkakasvien heimoon kuuluva laji. Alun perin levinnyt Etelä- ja Itä-Eurooppaan, sitä tavataan nykyään käytännössä koko Euroopassa.


Saksan apteekkarien yhdistys (VDD) nimesi aidon kamomillan ensimmäiseksi vuoden lääkekasviksi vuonna 1987.

Se äänestettiin myös vuoden 2002 lääkekasviksi.
