EMSER ΕΝΕΡΓΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ Compact 1 PC

1. Preparing the Emser Inhaler Compact Plus:

1.1 Slide the medication container with the nebulizer into the housing from the front until it clicks into place.

1.2 Open the medication container by releasing the lever and flipping the lid upwards.

1.3 Pour the medication and/or saline solution into the medication container. Close the lid until the lever clicks.

1.4 Attach the desired accessory (mask, mouthpiece, or child mask) to the medication container.

1.5 Place the device against your mouth (mouthpiece) or hold the mask over your mouth and nose. Inhalation can now begin.

2. Inhalation with the Emser Inhaler Compact Plus

Inhale deeply and slowly through your mouth or nose. Hold your breath briefly and then exhale calmly. Hold the device as vertically as possible. Please also refer to the package insert for the medication you are using.

An inhalation of the isotonic Emser salt solution should last approximately 10 to 15 minutes. The device has an automatic shut-off function when the liquid is almost gone.

3. After Inhalation

Detach the used accessories, such as the mask or mouthpiece, from the medication container. Then, remove the medication container and nebulizer from the device by pressing the button on the back of the device and pulling the medication container horizontally forward.

After each use, the nebulizer with its container, as well as the accessories, should be cleaned for approximately 5 minutes with water no warmer than 40°C (ideally distilled). For cleaning the medication container, please also follow the self-cleaning instructions described in the user manual. Afterward, dry the individual parts with a soft cloth and allow them to dry completely on a clean, absorbent surface. Only then should you reassemble the parts and place the device in a dry, sealed container (see also the user manual).
... It is recommended to disinfect the individual parts regularly. You can disinfect the nebulizer, medication container, and mouthpiece in two different ways: with ethyl alcohol or in boiling water. The masks, however, must be cleaned with ethyl alcohol. Please refer to the instructions for use for details.
