    Leun achterover en ondersteun uw armen op een andere manier. het midden van de manchet moet zich op de bovenarm bevinden ter hoogte van het hart

    Maak je linkerarm los en leg je onderarm op de tafel. De pols is voelbaar met de vingertoppen aan de binnenkant van je bovenarm, ongeveer 2,5 cm boven de elleboogplooi.

    Zorg ervoor dat je bij het oprollen van je kleding niet op je arm gaat zitten, want dat kan je bloedcirculatie belemmeren. Trek strakke kleding liever uit voordat je gaat meten.

    Schuif de geopende manchet over uw arm tot de onderkant van de manchet zich ongeveer 2-3 cm boven de elleboog bevindt. De rubberen slangen moeten naar beneden uit de manchet lopen. Let er vooral op dat het in de manchet ingebouwde membraan op het eerder bepaalde pulspunt rust. Hoe nauwkeuriger het steunpunt van het membraan, hoe duidelijker en luider de artefacten te horen zijn.

    Wees zo ontspannen mogelijk en praat niet terwijl u uw bloeddruk meet.

Free your left arm and place your forearm on the table. The pulse can be felt with the fingertips on the inside of the upper arm, about 2.5 cm above the crook of the arm.

Slip the opened cuff over your arm until the lower edge of the cuff is approx. 2 - 3 cm above the elbow. The rubber hoses must lead downwards out of the cuff. The more precisely the support point of the membrane, the clearer and louder the artefacts can be heard.

Be as relaxed as possible and not talk while measuring your blood pressure.
