Aurica fennikelte består af hele frugterne fra den bittere fennikel "Foeniculum vulgare MILL.", som også er populær inden for børnelæger på grund af sin krydrede og bittersøde smag. Fennikel har længe været kendt som et fordøjelses- og luftvejsmiddel. Traditionelt bruges det mod milde krampelignende mave-tarmproblemer såsom luft i maven og oppustethed.

Fennikelte har også en ekstremt slimløsende effekt, gør det lettere at ophoste og giver dermed lindring af infektioner i de øvre luftveje med hoste, ondt i halsen og betændelse i slimhinderne.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 2 - 3 times a day: 1 teaspoon of crushed fennel (approx. 2.5 g) with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and pour about 10 - 15 Let it stand for minutes.
