Originated from Afghanistan, Primavera Afghan Rose Orgniac 10% Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation. The rose is a deciduous shrub and is known as the "queen of flowers"; it has given its name to the entire plant genus. The Damascus rose comes from the Persian region and is said to have been introduced from there by the crusaders. The typical shape of the Rosa damasena is slightly like a climbing rose with slightly nodding pink flowers. The species that is cultivated today as an oil rose in Turkey, Morocco, Bulgaria, India, Persia or Russia is called Rosa damascena trigintipetala.
