    A varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are also very important after your pregnancy and childbirth in order to regain your strength and to be up to the new challenges, especially if you decide to breastfeed your baby. Breastfeeding helps you build a close bond with your baby and also provides it with essential nutrients.

    If you are breastfeeding, your body produces about 300-500 ml of breast milk a day for the first week. Depending on what your baby needs, this can increase to 600-700 ml of breast milk per day.

    How much milk your body produces, its composition and its nutrient content are also influenced by your lifestyle and diet. Breastfeeding your baby also increases your energy requirements and the need for some micronutrients.

    FemibionĀ® 3 breastfeeding provides you with selected nutrients that can support you during this special time as a supplement to a balanced, varied diet. It contains folate, vitamin D and A, iron, calcium, choline, lutein and other nutrients (iodine, selenium, zinc, vitamins C, B and E). Iron helps reduce fatigue. Calcium contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function. FemibionĀ® 3 breastfeeding contains the omega-3 fatty acid DHA and lutein in a separate capsule. Lutein gives the capsule its characteristic red color. FemibionĀ® 3 lactation is lactose and gluten free, as well as beef and pork gelatin.

    FOLIC
    is a synthetically produced B vitamin that the body converts into bioactive folate. Folate contributes to normal blood formation and cell division.

    MetafolinĀ®
    is a premium form of folate that can be used by almost all women.

    CALCIUM
    contributes to normal bone and muscle function.

    LUTEIN
    is a carotenoid that occurs in several plants, including many vegetables and fruits. It gives the capsule the characteristic color.

    CHOLIN
    contributes to normal homocysteine ā€‹ā€‹metabolism. Your choline requirement is increased during breastfeeding.


    VITAMIN C
    contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

    VITAMIN E and SELEN
    help protect the cells from oxidative stress.

    VITAMIN A
    contributes to the maintenance of normal eyesight and the normal function of the immune system.

    VITAMIN D and ZINC
    contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system and play a role in cell division.

    IRON and PANTOTHENIC ACID
    contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

    VITAMIN B1, B2, BIOTIN and NIACIN
    contribute to normal energy metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system.

    VITAMIN B6 and B12
    contribute to the normal formation of red blood cells.

  • Take 1 tablet & 1 capsule per day with enough cold liquid at one of the meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Due to the vitamin A it contains, this product should not be taken during the first trimester of pregnancy. If you become pregnant while breastfeeding, we recommend switching to FemibionĀ® 1, which was specially developed for early pregnancy. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
