Not all hair is created equal. The differences are great, but the hair also has a few things in common: Hair is flexible, about 0.1 mm thin horn threads of great strength and elasticity. Each hair is embedded in the skin with a hair follicle. It grows by forming new cells. The cells divide extremely quickly, about five times as fast as normal skin cells.
